Wien Andas is a political alliance in Vienna, Austria, created for the city's 2015 parliamentary and local elections. Wien Andas is a progressive, elagitarian, system-critic and pro-equal-rights alliance. It consists of several parties, most notably the Communist Party of Austria and the Pirate Party of Austria. By altering colours and narrowing the cross-bars of the citys original crest, the logo communicates the approach of thinking and doing things differently.
“There are currently 1.8 million people living in Vienna, but not all of them have the same rights. Our vision is for a different Vienna, with equal rights and opportunities for everyone. A city where it is possible to be unique, without being afraid.”
